POC 10 Gaming Schedule

The 2017 POC Gaming track has once again conquered an entire building at the Alabama 4-H Center to bring you nonstop gaming fun!  Throughout the weekend we'll offer board gaming, tournaments, RPG's, video games, and much more.

This year we've combined the gaming, programming, and outdoors events into one epic schedule!

Please note that events, times, and locations are subject to change, so please check back often!

If you have any questions, please be sure to contact our gaming director!

The Hunt for the Horcruxes

Join us for our first-ever, all-ages, wizard-themed puzzle hunt!

The quest to find all of the horcruxes will take you to the far corners of the Alabama 4H center, as you race to stop the evil Vold-- er, well, let's not say his name.  Each discovery will give you a clue toward the next location.  This event runs most of the weekend, so you can proceed at your own pace.

To particpate, come to either of the intro sessions in the Open Gaming Room -- 5pm Thursday, or 5pm Friday.  You'll be given a brief introduction and the first clue in the hunt.  If you can't make either session -- no problem!  Just stop by the Open Gaming Library for your first clue.

On Saturday afternoon at 5pm, join us for the ending celebration!  Where, you ask?  You'll have to complete the hunt to find out!

Two Rooms and a Boom!

Eliminate your enemies (and betray your friends!) in this epic social deduction game!

Each round you'll be given a secret team and role card.  Try to unravel the identities and allegiances of the other players as you plot, connive, and lie your way to victory.

Players can rotate in and out between rounds, which only last about 20 minutes.  The more the merrier -- please check with our official Spymaster in the Gaming Lobby to get in on the fun!

24 Hour Board Gaming

As always, Open Gaming at POC will be running around the clock. With dozens of open tables and our library of over 400 unique board and card games, you can fill your weekend with as much gaming as you could ever want!

Late-Night Party Games

At Midnight each night, join us in the Open Gaming room for Late-Night Party Games!

This is a great way to meet your fellow POCsters and participate in some of the most hilarious games you'll ever play.

Thursday: Time's Up and Monikers

Friday: Bring Your Own Book

Saturday: Secret Hitler

Re-live the golden age of text-based adventure games!

In this cooperative group game, your host is the text parser, and what happens next is completely up to you.

Blind Date with a Board Game

Love is in the air -- love for tabletop games, that is!

Just show up and fill out a "dating profile".  Our expert matchmakers will fix you up with a board game based on your preferences.  This is a great opportunity to make some new friends and discover a new favorite game!

Pathfinder Events

Play On Con will once again be hosting Pathfinder Society games all weekend long!

We feature a wide variety of Pathfinder Society modules run by some of the most experienced Game Masters in the Southeast.

To view the schedule of RPG events or to pre-register for a seat, please visit the POC 10 WarHorn site!

Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator

Ever dreamed of being a crew member on the Enterprise, fighting against a relentless horde of enemy ships to save the galaxy?

The Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator brings that experience to life.  It is a multiplayer, cooperative, role-based game that allows players to command their very own starship.  The odds are stacked against you, of course, so the crew must work together to manage weapons, shields, engines, power systems, and strategic information.

For our experienced players, we've added a new Sunday morning event called "Artemis Extreme".  Take our prototype Dreadnought for a spin as the entire sector collapses into all-out war.  Can your elite crew survive?

We need all the input that we can get to make Play On Con the best convention that it can be. If you have programming concepts, share them! If you have artistic ideas, let us know! If you want to help with convention operations, contact Marc to join the crew! We welcome your talents, and hope that you will volunteer to help!
