Getting started with 3D printing for use in costumes

This is a crash course for 3D printing, from the terminology you need to get started with 3D printing to making models to print. Easy enough for anyone to learn, this course will cover all the basics and help you decide what printer to purchase, I will provide a quick pros/cons of all the most common hobbyist level 3D printers. I will go over how to take a 3D model and load it onto a printer.

Collaborative World Building for RPGs Using Gamification

We will discuss building collaborative worlds for RPGs (and fiction) through gamified processes. In particular, we will run a simplified version of Ben Robbin's "Microscope" game with the attendees to demonstrate the concept.

Wedding "Cake" Wars


Our President and First Lady are having a wedding at the convention! To honor their nuptials, we will host a contest to see who can fabricate the finest "cake" in the land. Come join us for a fun crafting contest where we make "cakes" out of plastic and ribbon and whatever else we have lying around. The happy couple will choose a winner who will take away a few POC dollars and the honor of being best "Cake Maker" in the "land"! All ages welcome, but children under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
