Price includes a private Alabama 4-H Center dorm room for three nights and all applicable taxes ($99/nt, 3 nights, 11% tax). This room will be in a building where no 21+ parties or other late/loud events are allowed.

Check-in is at 4PM on Thursday of our convention, and check-out is on Sunday at 10AM. Late check-in will be possible at any hour, or even on a later date, but check-out can be no later than 10AM. Due to other scheduled summer camp groups, there is no option to extend dorm room reservations beyond the three main nights of the convention.

The 4-H Center dorm rooms are pretty unusual if you're accustomed to regular hotel rooms. There aren't any TVs, telephones, coffee pots, or other such amenities. There are two bunks, each with two beds (total of 4 twin beds), and you're provided with sheets, towels, and a blanket for each bed. You may want to bring additional blankets, and you'll definitely want to bring your own shampoo/conditioner, as well as extra towels for the pool. Each dorm room has a private bathroom with a shower (showerheads are a little low, so if you’re tall you may need to bend a bit!), a moderate amount of storage space, and a door that locks (with a metal key). There are a couple of power outlets, but you may want to bring a power strip if you'll need to plug in more than a few things. WiFi and cell signal are not always great in the dorms, but the Center has made significant improvements in the last year. The dorm buildings also have shared lobby areas on each floor that are pretty good for reading or sitting around a table with friends, though we do use them for a few events over the weekend. These buildings are generally used for 4-H campers, of course, but we think you'll find them to be a fun and unique con experience!
